Le Morne Brabant: Climb to the summit and be rewarded with a jaw-dropping 360° view over the Indian Ocean, the lagoon, and the island’s interior. A UNESCO World Heritage Site steeped in history and home to numerous endemic species, this is one hike you simply can’t miss.

The 7 Cascades Trail: Trek through lush tropical forest, past palm trees and banana plants, deep into the heart of the island to discover the seven stunning Tamarin waterfalls one by one. Absolutely magical.

Black River Gorges: Head up through the 6,500-hectare National Park for a true immersion in wild, untouched nature. At the end of the gorge, a waterfall awaits, perfect for a refreshing dip in the river before heading back.

Birdwatching: Mauritius is home to 9 endemic bird species, including the Pink Pigeon, the Mauritius Kestrel, and the Echo Parakeet. On a half-day excursion, you’ll head out to unique observation points inside the Black River Gorges National Park in search of these rare and beautiful birds.

Into trail running?

Yanature is also well respected in the trail running world. Whether you’re a complete beginner or preparing for a race, the team includes some seriously passionate and accomplished runners including the Mauritian Long Trail Champion 2016 & 2017, the Trail League Champion 2017, and a Grand Raid finisher. They offer introductory sessions, route reconnaissance, and race preparation tailored to your level.
